Website operation and technical security
This website is provided through Wix. A visit involves the processing of technical connection data, including IP address, time and requested address, and browser and device information. These data are used to deliver content, maintain availability and security, resolve errors and prevent misuse.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to provide the content you request reliably and to protect the website.
Data from project and venture partner enquiries
When you contact us through a form or by email, we process the information you provide and the related correspondence. The forms distinguish between a specific project and a potential entrepreneurial contribution.
Form enquiries are transmitted to the website and stored in the data area of our Wix account for processing. The enquiry type, language version, and technical reference and handling information are also recorded. The confirmation shown on the website refers to successful storage of the enquiry.
Fields marked with an asterisk are needed to identify and meaningfully respond to a form enquiry. Other information is optional. Contacting us does not constitute consent to advertising. Please do not submit patient records or third parties’ health data through the website forms.
- Projects: name, email address, topic and project description; optionally company or organisation and preferred timeframe.
- Venture partner contributions: name, email address, preferred role, and experience or potential contribution; optionally a profile or website address and availability.
- Email: sender and contact details, the message, any attachments, and communication data required for delivery and handling.
Purposes and legal bases
We use this information to answer your enquiry, assess a potential collaboration and prepare the next steps you request.
Where you personally seek to enter into or perform a contract with us, processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For business communication with a company’s contact persons and for other enquiries, we rely on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to handle the enquiry appropriately and assess a suitable collaboration.
Where statutory retention or documentation duties apply, the necessary processing is based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR. Data needed to establish, exercise or defend specific legal claims may continue to be processed under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Access and recipients
The website operator and persons authorised to the extent necessary handle your enquiry. Technical service providers may process data as needed for hosting, storage, website security and email communication.
For the website and storage of form enquiries, we use Wix.com Ltd. and the affiliates and sub-processors involved in the relevant service. Processing on our behalf is governed by Wix’s Data Processing Addendum.
An enquiry is not automatically forwarded to a partner network. If a specific collaboration requires other specialists, we clarify the information sharing needed for that project.
International processing
Wix operates an international infrastructure; data may be processed in Israel and the United States in particular. Israel is covered by a European Commission adequacy decision. Other transfers rely on the applicable safeguards, including the EU Standard Contractual Clauses described in Wix’s Data Processing Addendum. Information about the relevant safeguards and a copy can be obtained through our privacy contact; Wix’s contractual information is linked above.
Retention
Enquiries and correspondence are retained to handle the request and assess a collaboration. Once an enquiry is closed without a collaboration, the information is deleted when it is no longer needed for those purposes and no statutory duty or specific legal claim requires further retention.
If a collaboration follows, further retention depends on its performance and the applicable statutory retention and documentation duties. Data retained for legal claims are limited to the information and period needed for that purpose.
Technical logs and backups are governed by their security and recovery purpose and the retention cycles of the infrastructure used. Deletion from active systems may take effect in technically separate backups at a later point.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you have the right of access to your personal data, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing. You may request data portability where the conditions of Article 20 GDPR are met.
Where processing relies on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may object to processing for direct marketing at any time. You may withdraw any consent you have given with effect for the future; this does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
To exercise your rights, contact alexander.swancar@n7x4.com. You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority. In Austria, this includes the Austrian Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Wien; email: dsb@dsb.gv.at.
Decisions about collaboration
The contact forms do not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about a collaboration. Technical input checks serve transmission and processing. Any further collaboration is decided through the specific discussion.
